Burberry pulled out all the stops for their See Now, Buy Now runway show this September in London.

For Riccardo Tisci's second full collection since joining Burberry in March 2018, despite the rumour that we were to expect lots of streetwear, the Italian Chief Creative Officer gave us a runway show full of red carpet glamour.

Notable walking models included Kendall Jenner, with a shock of bright blonde hair, dyed by famous beauty tastemaker, hair stylist Guido Palau, plus Bella Hadid with hair cropped into a chunky bob, Gigi Hadid and Irina Shayk who retained her signature brunette locks.

The last time we saw Kendall as a platinum blonde, it was at the request of Olivier Rousteing, for Balmain's AW16 show.

We also saw the return of iconic early 2000s model Agness Deyn, who announced her retirement from modelling in 2012, but agreed to return to the catwalk for Tisci.

Set in the Troubadour theatre in White City, the show was staged like a nightclub, with giant speakers punctuating the runway and thumping electronica enveloping the audience.

More formal than expected, the collection included the usual iteration of its macs and long trenches, but also included feathered dresses, long skirts, sequins and plenty of red carpet glamour - reminiscent of Riccardo's work for Givenchy couture.

The particular shade of pink, slate grey, chain link details, detached frogging and lace panels all adding a flavour of Tisci’s Givenchy days.

Despite most designers dressing models in flats this September, Riccardo's girls wore heels.
