Another day, another designer collaboration... And this time around, it's the sportswear collection we never knew we needed – and already can't get out of our heads.

After months of speculation, which started when models in Jacquemus' 'La Montagne' campaign were spotted wearing what looked like Nike trainers, the two brands finally announced that they were working together on an exclusive collaborative collection – and hypebeasts everywhere (us included) have been beside themselves with excitement ever since.

'For this collaboration with Nike, I wanted to create a collection that reinterprets athletic women’s sportswear in a minimal way,' said Simon Porte Jacquemus of the collaboration. 'I have always been inspired by vintage ACG pieces and Nike campaigns from the 90’s. Having this imagery in mind, we designed women’s athletic wear with sensuous details and neutral colours, along with my own interpretation of the Humara – my favourite Nike shoe.'

Blending Jacquemus' signature style and Nike's performance excellence, the collection has apparently been three years in the making and redefines 'summer ready-to-wear' with sport-inspired clothes, accessories and footwear. Jacquemus has also emphasised the importance of the collection being accessible, 'for all bodies'.

Drop one was released on June 28, featuring everything from dresses, skirts and shorts to bucket hats and trainers – and, unsurprisingly, sold out almost immediately. So you can imagine our joy at the news that there would be a drop two soon after. Released via the Nike SNKRS app and in selected retailers on July 7, the Nike X Jacquemus collection dropped at 8am – and it's also almost completely sold out already.

There are some Humaras left in stock in various sizes, so get on it as quickly as possible to avoid yet another disappointment. And those who are truly dedicated should spend some time refreshing each page in case of a quiet restock...
