A new city, performances from Taylor Swift and Ed Sheeran, two Fantasy Bras worth $2 million a pop and 40 Angels walking the catwalk – there’s a lot to get excited about the 2014 Victoria’s Secret show.
We caught up with five of the Angels to find out what they’re most looking forward to...
‘I’ve heard the Earl’s Court venue is spectacular and I can't wait to see it at rehearsals tonight. This is the first year that Victoria’s Secret has two Fantasy Bras and I am wearing one - it’s such a great honour to be chosen. Adriana and I have been with Victoria’s Secret the longest so it’s great we get to share this special moment. I’ve also been working out a lot for that moment!’
‘I’m most excited about getting on the runway! That moment of stepping out and everything else just falls away - everything we’ve been thinking about and anticipating and all the nerves. I just get in the zone and that’s the moment I’m waiting for tomorrow.’
‘I’m excited about everything – the whole experience. We start to work on the show months in advance; we record the TV special, shoot commercials and film the opening segment – which shows our personal stories - all prior to the show. It’s a lot of hard work but it’s so exciting. I also can’t wait to see the performers this year.’
‘First of all I’m looking forward to seeing the venue, they’ve told us it’s really beautiful. The musical guests are really great this year and I’m really looking forward to Ed Sheeran – I’m a big fan.’
‘I can’t wait to wear my wings! I have two pairs; one with which are sprayed with graffiti that make me feel like a character from Blade Runner and another with really beautiful fall leaves. The Pink section is also really cool this year, it’s always really cool but this year is really amazing.
