Amal Clooney made a rare New York street style appearance yesterday, stepping out in a leather trench coat by Alexander Wang. Paired with a black dress, nude pumps, oversized sunglasses, and a black leather bag, the coat looked every bit ladylike with some downtown edge. The ensemble fit right in with Amal Clooney's usual sharp office outfits:
But Clooney isn't the first person to pose for photographers in the coat. Cardi B wore it first during New York Fashion Week on February 10. She wore it with fishnet tights, over-the-knee black boots, and a black scarf. Two women, one coat, two very different outfits that work equally well with it.
Alexander Wang is very pleased. 'I swing both ways,' he wrote in his Instagram showing the two in the piece.
