In a set of newly-released photos to mark Prince Charles' 70th birthday on Thursday, Princess Charlotte takes centerstage as she sits alongside her step-grandmother, Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall.

Coordinating with the Royal Family, who all wear hues of blue and cream in the adorably casual family snap, the three-year-old princess looks sweet in a blue floral dress with a Peter Pan collar.

However, on closer inspection of the outfit, we see this isn't the first time we've seen the dress. In July, the tot donned the same outfit for her balcony appearance at Buckingham Palace for the Trooping the Colour.

The little girl has already showed her passion for following in her mother, Kate Middleton, and aunt, Meghan Markle's thrifty footsteps and recycled royal outfits.

Last year, the royal was spotted boarding a helicopter in Hamburg with her parents and brother, Prince George, wearing a pink polka dot smock dress with Peter Pan colour, teamed with a pair of red Mary-Jane shoes.

She previously wore the same outfit at her second Trooping the Colour balcony appearance.

Meanwhile, it appears Prince George has also jumped on the recycling bandwagon. In the new family photo, the royal can be seen sporting a pair of black shoes previously worn on his first day at Thomas's Battersea school in London in September 2017.

Kate and Meghan have recycled outfits for royal appearances on several occasions in recent years.

Over the weekend, the mother-of-three looked stunning in a green Catherine Walker coat velvet cuffs, collar and pockets for the Centenary of Armistice at Westminster Abbey. She'd previously wore the coat to the 2017 St Patrick's Day parade.

At Meghan and Harry's wedding earlier this year, the royal was widely believed to have recycled an Alexander McQueen white coat she'd previously worn to both Princess Charlotte’s christening and to one of the Queen’s birthday jubilee events.

However, an eagle-eyed Instagram user pointed out that the royal actually made an alteration to the original design of the coat, as well as sported a different colour in the amended version of the look.

Meanwhile, the Duchess of Sussex recycled a navy ruffled midi dress with double-breasted buttons for a recent reception in Auckland during her royal tour 'Down Under'. She previously wore in May 2017 at the Audi Polo Challenge.

She also recycled her favourite Stella McCartney cape dress for the opening of the Invictus Games in Sydney she once wore to the Queen's birthday celebrations in April.
