Gigi Hadid Has Designed A Reebok Collection And We've Never Wanted More Of An Excuse To Shop

We have a confession to make.

While we can't get enough of learning about 2018's hottest fitness trends and checking out the latest pay-as-you-go gyms, we often just put on gym clothes to make it look like we're going to work out. The reality? We're sitting in front of the television with a tube of Pringles.

But now we've heard Gigi Hadid has launched a new collection with Reebok, we're very excited - only a model-sportswear collaboration could make us rethink our sedative lifestyle!

Besides, if there's one celebrity who knows about the benefits of fitness for your mind and body, it's Gigi.

On Wednesday, the 23-year-old supermodel announced the launch of a new co-designed capsule collection in Tokyo, Japan.

Taking to the stage with the news, the Californian-born beauty unveiled her first two designs: a black ‘90s-style trainer (called the ‘Freestyle Hi’) with yellow laces and detailing, and a matching cropped T-shirt.

The Victoria's Secret model dived into Reebok Classic's design archive for inspiration and was instantly drawn to the Freestyle Hi.

During the launch, Hadid explained: 'I wanted to take classic Reebok clothing patterns and shapes and incorporate new cuts/crops, fresh colourways and fabrics/fits that I knew would be comfortable to workout and sweat in.

'The “classic nostalgia” idea came from how I described wanting to feel in these clothes, and I love what each element of the collection represents – from the empowering identity of the Freestyle to the fierce statement t-shirt. Each piece feels personal to me and my style.'
