Victoria Beckham showcased her impeccable wedding guest style once again this weekend as she attended footballer Sergio Ramos’ nuptials in Spain.

The designer arrived at the celebrations with husband David, a former teammate of the Real Madrid star, and had heads turning thanks to a crepe midi dress with hot pink heels.

She took to Instagram to share a photo of the pair along with a caption written in Spanish that translates to "What a beautiful day in Seville with friends celebrating the wedding of [Sergio Ramos and Pilar Rubio]."

It seems Victoria took the chance to channel another style icon of our times: the Duchess of Sussex. You may remember Meghan wore the same chain print for the Commonwealth Service in March. The royal, who was then pregnant with son Archie, chose the dress by Beckham, pairing it with a matching coat, pillbox hat and green accessories.

The dress was first shown during the designer's autumn/winter 2019 show during London Fashion Week in February. It was styled for the runway with a pair of peep-toe sock boots in cherry red.

Naturally, Victoria put her own spin on the look to attend the lavish wedding, adding a colour pop with her footwear as well as oversized sunglasses. She also opted for the runway version, which is more fitted than the design Meghan wore and features a higher neckline.

The outfit may have ruffled a few feathers at the Spanish wedding, however. The ceremony reportedly had a strict dress code with guests advised against wearing red, orange, green, white or pink in order to complement the colour scheme. And despite the chain print steering VB away from bridal territory, wearing a white dress to a wedding when you are not the bride is still frowned upon.

Meanwhile, Victoria's fellow Spice Girls were performing at Wembley Stadium for the final night of their tour. The 45-year-old was rumoured to be joining the band on stage, but her appearance at Ramos' wedding dashed fans' hopes of a reunion.
