All eyes were on Palm Beach, Florida last month, as the highly anticipated nuptials of Brooklyn Beckham and Nicola Peltz took place – and the event was every bit as spectacular as we expected.
Peltz stunned in a Valentino couture wedding gown and dramatic lace-trimmed veil, while Beckham donned an elegant suit which was custom-made by Dior. But, naturally, the opulence didn't stop with the clothes: what caught our magpie eyes immediately was all of the striking jewellery on show.
Hailing from one of the wealthiest families in the US, it's of little surprise that Peltz wore some of the most show-stopping wedding jewellery we have seen to date: a pair of diamond earrings that are estimated to be worth around $1 million.
'Most notable were the very impressive single solitaire round brilliant cut diamond stud earrings which are firm favourites of Nicola's,' says jewellery expert and designer Susannah Lovis. 'I would estimate them to be at least around the 7-carat mark – each of course! Diamonds are incredibly rare in this size and they could be anywhere from $250,000 up to several million dollars depending on the cut and clarity.'
Brooklyn Beckham, meanwhile, embellished his suit with a chic diamond chain from Anita Ko, which was gifted to him by his new in-laws before the wedding.
And as for the ever-fabulous Victoria Beckham? The singer and fashion designer wore a couture slip dress from her eponymous brand which had been made specially for the occasion, and topped it with a gold necklace featuring a huge pear-cut diamond pendant. According to the Daily Mail, its estimated worth is an astounding £2 million.
Mother-of-the-bride Claudia Peltz also showed off some serious jewellery for the occasion, wearing multi-strand diamond drop earrings and a statement diamond necklace featuring a gigantic pear-cut diamond pendant similar to Victoria's - if not significantly bigger.
And if all this bling still wasn't enough, we have just found out that soon after her wedding, Nicola Peltz had her engagement ring upgraded – and she's shared a glimpse of the even-more-gigantic rock on Instagram.
Peltz's original engagement ring featured a beautiful, emerald-cut diamond solitaire – but just a few days after her wedding, she was spotted toting something significantly larger on her ring finger. We had our first proper glimpse of the piece at the Met Gala, but Peltz has now posted a series of images showing her very impressive post-wedding upgrade.
Alongside an impressive new eternity wedding band studded with emerald-cut diamonds, the star wears 'a beautiful 10-carat oval diamond with very impressive trilliant cut diamonds set on either side,' according to Neil Dutta, Managing Director of Angelic Diamonds. And its value? Dutta estimates its worth to be an astonishing $1.85 million (around £1.5m).
And with Victoria Beckham upgrading her engagement ring an estimated total of 15 times in the 24 years they've been married, we wouldn't be surprised if Peltz also follows suit.
