Blue Ivy Carter joined Beyoncé at last night’s iHeartRadio Music Awards and wore an outfit as stunning as her mother’s cowgirl Versace look.
Blue was filmed backstage alongside Beyoncé in a denim corset and high-waisted jeans. The 12-year-old Grammy winner had her hair styled in loose waves, and she wore a red lip to pay tribute to her mother’s Cowboy Carter era. Multiple clips of Blue at the show surfaced on social media. Beyoncé hasn’t shared any photos of Blue and Jay-Z yet on her own social media, although they both attended the show with her. She did share some closer looks at her own outfit though:
Beyoncé also gave Blue and Jay-Z a heartfelt thank you in her speech while accepting the ceremony’s Innovator Award. She thanked 'my husband, my rock, my best friend, I love you,' then shared her gratitude to 'my three beautiful children [Blue, Sir, and Rumi] who continue to be my inspiration and my biggest blessing.'
Blue received another tribute from a family member recently. Her grandfather, Beyoncé’s dad Mathew Knowles, posted an open letter to Blue on Instagram last month.
'I want to take a moment to appreciate the amazing determination and willingness to learn that you displayed,' he told her. 'Your excitement for life and your eagerness to soak up knowledge and new experiences is truly inspiring. You have already shown the world that you are a force to be reckoned with, and I have no doubt that one day you will continue to astound us all.
'It’s clear that you have an extraordinary Knowles spirit, and I am confident that you will find your true passion in life.
