H&M has revealed its first Superbowl advert, a 30-second ode to David Beckham’s abs. The football star spends the spot flexing his muscles, showcasing his many tattoos, and convincing all of us that Beckham-approved briefs are H&M’s best idea since they put Stella McCartney on the high street.

‘I'm excited about my bodywear ad featuring in this year's Super Bowl,’ Beckham said in a release. ‘My design team and I spent 18 months developing the collection, it's been a fantastic collaborative experience, and I'm very happy with the end result. Like every fan, I'm looking forward to Super Bowl Sunday.’

In other Brand Beckham developments, on Monday H&M dropped giant shopping bags bearing Beckham’s likeness at select points across London. Besides this beauty near Tower Bridge, bags materialised in Victoria Station, Covent Garden and both Westfields.

You don’t have to thank us. We’ll just say it: you’re welcome.
