Wedding bells for Reese Witherspoon

The actress and ELLE May cover girl wore a custom Monique Lhuillier gown for her walk down the aisle to the traditional 'Bridal Chorus'.

The elegant affair provided a backdrop for some less sedate relationships. Renee Zelwegger, a close friend of the bride, attended the wedding fresh from moving out of ex Bradley Cooper’s home. Scarlett Johansson turned up on the arm of beau Sean Penn. And despite some news reports that Ryan Phillippe, Witherspoon’s first husband, attended the event, other coverage said that Phillippe and girlfriend Amanda Seyfried spent the weekend camped out at a nearby hotel.

Other familiar faces among the 120-strong guestlist included Tobey Maguire, Robert Downey Jr, Salma Hayek and Alyssa Milano.
