Rihanna's favourite swimwear designer

We looked enviously at the pics of the pop star sunning herself in Barbados over Christmas, not least because while we were hiding our festive stomachs with layers of knits, she was showing off enviously toned limbs in a cut-away swimsuit. And now it seems that the designer behind the one-piece is set to be a fashion star.

We hear that Rihanna has commissioned Celeste Johnny, the lady behind label Johnny Vincent, to make her a bespoke striped bikini. And where one star leads others are sure to follow - we predict that the brand will be much in demand come summer.

The label is not currently stocked in London - the fashion crowd jetting to New York for fashion week in a few weeks will be able to snap it up - but there is good news.
