Pammy gets in on the act

Where once actors could slip out unnoticed after a performance, the slew of big Hollywood names treading the boards in the West End has now brought undue attention to the back door. Plus - a massive coup for paps - the movements of usually hard-to-catch celebrities were now very easy to pin down.They have to turn up for work everyday after all.

And what stories it brought us. A handsome Josh Hartnett after Rain Man, an angry Jude Law after Hamlet... but it was Anna Friel who really monetised the opportunity. Every night after Breakfast at Tiffany's she swapped her costume for an outfit completely unsuited to the task of going home. Slinky gowns when it was freezing cold, huge heels for a cobbled pavement... this was someone who wanted to reveal her fashion credentials. And as the paps came back for more, so did she with a different look.

Now Pamela Anderson is in on the act too. In London for her stint in pantomime, Pamela and the paps made full use of her "leaving shot" last night. Wearing head-to-toe Vivienne Westwood, the resulting shot is one we expect to see again and again.
