For way too long, mainstream fashion has left out those who are a UK size 16 (the UK average) and upwards, with many designers and even high-street stores going no further than a size 14. Thankfully, things are slowly changing, and big and small brands alike are either extending their size ranges, or opening bespoke lines.
Recently, luxury brand Erdem made headlines for extending their size range up to a UK 22, letting more women invest in quality designer pieces, while Khloé Kardashian and Emma Grede's Good American ensured size inclusivity was a core tenet of their company, launching in UK sizes 2-28.
While size-inclusive fashion may once have been synonymous with baggy sack dresses (not that there's anything wrong with a sack dress - in fact we're quite partial to them) and wide-fit sandals, brands like Reformation, Cawley Studio and Kai Collective hand choice back to the buyer, letting them choose to wear anything from skin-tight and see-through, cute and cottagecore and pared-back and minimal.

Erdem's PS21 collection has been unveiled, and as well as being truly dreamy, it is also size-inclusive. This collection, and most excitingly every collection to come, will run from UK sizes 6-22 and be available both online and at their Mayfair flagship store.
The brand celebrated the announcement by releasing an Erdem Moralioglu-styled shoot, starring Charlotte Robinson in the romantic clothes, and photographed by Ina Lekiewicz.
Though Erdem has previously been offering bespoke services for all sizes , this is the first time a more diverse range of shoppers will have access to the British designer's ready-to-wear pieces.
