Review just in: Miu Miu

It does this not because of its position as the final show on the schedule but due to Miuccia's talent as one of the pack's lead designers. Plus she has a canny knack of knowing the often oddball trends women love. Last season she cemented neon, this season she reverted to classic Miu Miu; stiff shapes, block colours and a sparkly heel.

To a Kate Bush soundtrack, Maria Carla appeared wearing a taupe blouse and navy skirt teamed with a wide navy bow band and glitter heels. Coats had wide shoulders, narrowing as they fell - yes we'll all be channelling the Buzz Lightyear physique come autumn. Pretty jewelled Lily of the Valley sprigs and dandelion flowers covered silk blouses and dresses and simple white blouses looked effortless with double layer navy pencil skirts.

Collars in contrasting colours were a focus in a grown up little-girl-lost way. But that is what Miu Miu does so well. There was none of the oddball here - rumour has it her new muse is Mila Kunis sitting front row - but we didn't need it. A collection to get all age groups grappling to buy.
