Reports suggest that the designers could bring their naughty little sister of a brand back into their main line to clear up market confusion.

'[Dolce and Gabbana] want to focus on one single brand, Dolce & Gabbana,' one anonymous Italian retailer told the paper.

Another retailer, also anonymous, suggested that D&G and Dolce & Gabbana 'cannibalised' each other, and that D&G pricing was too close to Dolce & Gabbana to make sense for a standalone line. Then again, surely any line that rakes in 400m euros a year must be worthwhile, right?

Something tells us that Dolce and Gabbana -- the men who brought us a nearly nude David Gandy -- know what they're doing. We just hope this doesn't mean the end of Madonna-heavy soundtracks at their shows.
