So it was no big surprise to see Olivia Palermo, Julia Restoin-Roitfeld and Charlotte Dellal all hit the front row to see what their favourite designer has in store for them come autumn.

The skater dresses of spring have been banished in favour of a figure hugging pencil dress. They were chic and polished, and you could choose your level of sexiness - prim numbers with high necks and long sleeves or more revealing takes on the shape with sheer panels and ruffled piping. And it wasnt all about the dresses either - there were chic, boxy wool jackets to team with long pencil skirts, and some cobweb knits for good measure.

All in all it was a masterclass in the cool polish that has fast become de la Morenas hallmark.
