The couture shows come to a close

This morning the fashion crowd is returning home after a week sat front row at the couture presentations. Yesterday they were treated to three show-stopping offerings - Valentino, Jean Paul Gaultier and Elie Saab.

At Valentino there were plenty of familiar faces on hand to see the latest romantic creations from the label - we spotted Caroline Sieber, Dasha Zhukova and Charlotte and Andrea Dellal.

Jean Paul Gaultier ditched the soundtrack for his punk-inspired presentation in favour of having Catherine Deneuve read descriptions of the looks. And talk was centred around the androgynous and downright beautiful male model Andrej Pejic who Gaultier chose to model his wedding dress.

And at Elie Saab the procession of ultra feminine, gently ruffled dresses had us all wanting to play dress-up.
