DVF to receive top amfAR honour

Diane von Furstenberg is set to receive amfARs top honour at the charitys 25th anniversary gala in February.

The AIDS foundation plans to bestow its Award of Courage on the perennially chic designer, as well as former president Bill Clinton and Elizabeth Taylor.

Each of these honourees has made vital and distinctive contributions to the global struggle against HIV/AIDS, amfAR Chairman Kenneth Cole told WWD. We are enormously proud to be able to pay tribute to such exceptional and compassionate humanitarians.

All three honourees will attend amfAR's gala event at New York's Cipriani. We anticipate black tie wrap dresses all around.
