Giles to make move to New York?

But Giles has strayed from his home city before, showing twice in Paris before launching his Ungaro collections there, and has often spoken of his desire to take his collection to the American capital: "I wouldn't rule out showing in New York if the time was right". According to industry sources that time may well be now; and if so it will be London's loss. The designer's show last night was a lesson in how to have fashion fun; from the quirky cartoonish clothes (read our full review here) to the eccentric choice of models- ranging from true pros like Agyness and Jessica Stam, to British television personalities including Kelly Brook and Abigail Clancy.

The good times continued at a raucous after party at East London's Bistroteque, where Giles was joined by Katie Grand, Jade Parfitt, Pixie Geldof and a host of London party girls enjoying the hospitality of Belvedere vodka. Let's hope they enjoyed what may be the last London show and party for one of the capital's favourite homegrown talents.
