Peter Pilotto's accomplished vision

We witnessed this from Peter Pilotto and Christopher de Vos today as they fought “against the banalisation of digital prints”, the very technique that made their name, to use screen printing instead. Not that the untrained eye could tell any different.

The duo’s signature palette of painterly tones was there – updated in airy whites, peachy nudes and eggshell blues. Parachute silk – becoming quite the s/s trend – were mixed with tweed and lace. Cropped biker jackets, wide palazzo pants and drawstring parkas gave a sporty feel and proved that they were more than just about the dress. But boy were the dresses good.

Liquid drapes and fly-away panels created a highly accomplished collection from a design duo at the top of their game.
