ELLEuk launches collection with M&S and RCA

It all started six months ago when ELLEuk.com, M&S and the RCA sat around a table to work out how we could help design students thrive in such an economically difficult time for the fashion industry and support home-grown talent. A collection was born featuring the raw talents of the MA fashion and textiles students, developed and produced by the unrivalled experience of the retail team at Marks & Spencer and edited by the discerning eye of ELLEuk.com

Students were invited to answer a design brief to create a collection that would complement and enhance Marks & Spencer's Limited Collection. Ten students were selected to go through to the second stage and produce one iconic look to go on sale at the flagship Marble Arch store and online during London Fashion Week in September. One of these designers will also win the opportunity to produce a bigger standalone collection for s/s 2011.
