Who is Todd Selby?

If you’ve developed an addiction to the Sartorialist then just wait until you discover The Selby. The cult style blog features photos taken of style setters in their homes – it’s like Homes and Gardens magazine for the cool kids.

It was started in 2008 by Todd Selby, a fashion and interiors photographer, who began by shooting his friends and their abodes. Now fans are queuing up to be featured on the site and thousands of people log on every day to indulge their inner nosy neighbour. Not only are the photos beautifully shot, they’ll have you crying everything from ‘I want one of those!’ to ‘They have a swing in their living room?’

Thanks to the blog’s massive popularity Selby is now much in demand within the industry. He’s shot campaigns for US labels Cole Haan and Crate and Barrel; he’s designed a window for New York department store Barney’s; and he’s teamed up with Nike 6.0 to take snaps of the athletes that the brand sponsors.
