Sonia Rykiel for H&M launches today

Natalie Rykiel (pictured), creative director of the French fashion house famed for its colourful knits and fun-loving spirit, has created a collection of lingerie for the high street giant. The hotly anticipated pieces are due to hit stores on Saturday (elbows at the ready) but the party starts tonight in Paris with a spectacular fashion show at the Grand Palais.

We hear that the event will have an Alice in Wonderland theme, complete with giant rabbits, trees made from baloons and a 25m high Eiffel Tower. And, because it's Sonia, we're expecting a smattering of the hottest models sporting big smiles.

Sonia Rykiel for H&M goes on sale across the globe on Saturday 5th December and will be available in H&M and Sonia Rykiel stand-alone stores.
