New Model Army

First up is 17-year old Alice Gibb (pictured), the English rose who is to star in the next Alexander McQueen campaign for a/w 08. An honour in itself, but even more of a coup for the newcomer as Mr McQueen hasn't shot a campaign for his mainline collection since 2003. The red head also opened McQueen's a/w 08 show at Fashion week - and we're sure she will be in Paris this September too.

Another English model causing a stir this week is Rosie Huntingdon the 21-year old former model booker, turned profession herself is rumoured to be the new star of Burburry's a/w 08 campaign to be shot by Mario Testino. No world yet though if she will appear alongside Agyness Deyn, or replace her (the former we hope.)

And finally L.A native Arielle Pytka, who was the 18- year old face of surf brand Roxy last year, made her runway debut this week at Dior Cruise. Arielle is a full-time artist and says modelling is just her second job. Nice work if you can get it!
