Alexa Chung arrives for Chanel Couture

Previous themes at his Chanel shows have included a jumbo jet for couture and an iceberg for ready to wear; today Karl Lagerfeld’s collection for Chanel is one of the highlights of the haute couture schedule in Paris, and attracted a loyal following among the A list.

Alexa Chung and Caroline Sieber were among the first arrivals along with model Laetitia Casta and Ines De La Fressange and brand ambassador Poppy Delevigne. Plenty of demure white tweed tailoring was in evidence, and Alexa modelled her trademark miniskirt in navy tweed with a simple sweater and quilted Chanel handbag.
