Margiela unravels the mystique
We interrupted the Maison Martin Margiela show about half way through the fittings process. The first model clasped her undone jersey panel gown across her bust while sticky Velcro held others together and underwear clumsily poked out as tacked-on zips traced where they would later be placed. No wait, this is a Margiela show. Artfully undone is the new done and unravelling the tailoring process created a visual feast.
