The whirlwind has settled, the Topshop signs outside of the old Eurostar terminal have been dismantled and the Somerset House exhibitors are packing their wares.

Its hard to believe that the catalyst for months of build-up and anticipation has passed. Luckily, weve got a Catwalk channel filled with reviews, collection photos and videos to revisit over the coming season. And what a season it was, characterised by inspiration, innovation and jaw-dropping shows.

I arrived straight from New York Fashion Week where notable highlights were Proenza Schouler, Rodarte and Brits-in-residence Preen and Victoria Beckham. But London fizzed with excitement throughout, ELLEuk.com Carrie Gorman said.

The American press, primarily in town for Burberry and Tom Ford, found a wealth of fresh ideas and slick production from designers who are still wrongly lumped under the New Talent bracket. Next season is bound to see Londons influence on a global scale but of course by then, well be on to something new. Catch us if you can.
