Giles and Ungaro: the party's over
Giles Deacon has parted ways with Emanuel Ungaro after designing two seasons for the Parisian fashion house.

The designer, who joined Ungaro in May 2010, and Ungaro have mutually decided to terminate their relationship.
The fashion house said its design team is responsible for the upcoming S/S 12 collection, showing in Paris on October 3.
Emanuel Ungaro embodies a very rich and distinct DNA which the company will deliver with a modern spirit, Jeffrey M. Aronsson, Ungaro CEO, said in a statement. 'The creative process for executing our strategy is largely in place and I will comment on this further at the appropriate time.'
Deacons appointment to Ungaro followed a period of instability at the house, most disastrously underlined by the choice of Lindsay Lohan as artistic director.
Deacon's representatives did not respond to a request for comment.
