Ladies, pick out your pinstripes and dust off your tweed, for smart-casual is back in town and will prove to be your staple for Autumn/Winter 2017.
From Gucci through to Racil, Tibi to Balmain, editors and fashion insiders alike have rediscovered their love of blazers and the streets of London Fashion Week were saturated with tailoring.
Whether it was colourblock, colourblock houndstooth (as modelled above by Kate Foley) or more traditional tweeds and stripes, there was a nod to workwear in almost every outfit.
Throw over slouchy jeans, or black kick-flairs with an oversized rollneck (tucked in on one side at the front, of course) for an ideal smart-casual look, or go full tweed with a skirt and boots for something more Chelsea-darling.
And elbow patches, we weren't prepared to see elbow patches making a return to the streets, but here they are.
Fancy re-creating these looks? It's super easy, Stella McCartney's Prince of Wales check blazer (£945) is absolutely ideal, Gucci of course have a great tweed version (£2,340) and a super-shiny silver brocade option too (£7,300).
If you're not in the market for haute couture, we got you bbz.
H&M have a fantastic wool-blend houndstooth for £34.99, Topshop's double lapel blazer is super cool (£285). while Zara have paid an excellent homage to Burberry's just happened 'See Now Buy Now' show with their military version (£95.99).
You're welcome, happy shopping...
