While Hollywood may be afraid of giving the Fantastic Four another go after never really getting the property off the ground, fans are super keen for Marvel's first family to get another outing on the big screen.
Not only that, they have the perfect casting in mind.
In an interview with Screen Rant, actor John Krasinski said that he would love to play Reed Richards/Mr Fantastic alongside wife Emily Blunt as Susan Storm/The Invisible Woman.
"Oh yeah, the Fantastic Four. I would love that!" he told the publication. "I mean listen, I'm still getting into the whole superhero thing.
"I didn't read comics as a kid, not as many. I read some but not as much, but I'm a huge superhero fan so yeah, I'd love to do something like that.
"If there are any left, a lot of these have been taken but the ones that are left... I would love to do something like that. And listen, I'd love to work with [Emily] again so any chance I got would be great."
Krasinski and Blunt leading the Fantastic Four has even resulted in fan art to give us an idea of what the pair would look like in blue spandex...
Krasinski is currently starring opposite Blunt in horror film A Quiet Place, which he directed. The film has been receiving a lot of critical buzz, so it's unsurprising to hear that there is talk of a sequel.
