Serena Williams is a killer tennis player, so that must mean she's great at throwing axes right? Jimmy Fallon put the star athlete to the test on The Tonight Show to see if her ax-swinging was just as strong as her serves. (Sounds like solid logic.)

The pair took turns throwing at their wooden target, and though Williams missed on the first two tries, the third time was a charm. On her last attempt, her ax landed right in the target's gut.

Whether she's holding a tennis racket or a sharp object, Serena Williams is not to be messed with, okay?

But the real winner was Fallon, whose ax sliced right into the target's hat. (Don't get in his way, either.)

In addition to throwing axes, Williams also gave an update on her adorable daughter, Alexis Olympia Ohanian. The tennis star welcomed the baby girl in September with hubby and Reddit co-founder Alexis Ohanian, who she married in November.

'I love her so much, we are just so close,' she told Jimmy about her seven-month-old. 'Now she kind of has a personality and she knows what she wants and knows what she likes. It's the best time.'

Little Alexis Olympia has also started speaking. 'She's been saying her first word a little bit, and she's been saying mom, but it's not 'mama,' its like 'mamamamamama.' Sometimes she says, 'mom!' It makes me feel so good.'

Williams also has a sports documentary, Being Serena, coming to HBO on May 2 at 10 p.m.
