During a particularly newsy week for the Kardashians, Ellen DeGeneres got Kim Kardashian to come on her show. The full episode airs Monday, but DeGeneres released a clip in advance of Kardashian speaking about her feelings on the Tristan Thompson cheating scandal that dominated entertainment headlines earlier this month. Thompson, to recap, was caught on video cheating with multiple women during his girlfriend (and Kardashian's sister) Khloé's pregnancy. The story broke days before she gave birth to their daughter, True Thompson.

Kardashian had trouble finding the words to describe how she felt. 'Like, I don’t even know how to describe it other than it’s just so fucked up,' she started. 'We really were rooting for Khloé. And we still are. She’s so strong and she’s doing the best she can. It’s a really sad situation all over. I kind of made this rule with my brother: if there’s a baby involved, I’m not going talk—I’m going to keep it cute and keep it classy and not talk too bad on [the parent]—I’m going to try not to say anything too negative because one day, True is going to see this, and it’s just, you know, so messed up.'

The mother of three also spoke to her husband's controversial return to Twitter. She told the host, ''I didn’t even know he got his Twitter again until I started seeing tweets come in from other people like, retweeting them,' she said. 'And I was like, "Wait, is this real?’"And then at night, he came in and was like, "Did you see my tweets?" And I was like, "Yes, I did see your tweets." And I followed him back.'
