Meghan Markle has just wiggled herself further into our hearts. How? Well the internet has unearthed a clip of the actress from 2016 and it's too adorable.

The former actress, then famed for her starring role in Suits and and her lifestyle blog The Tig, was invited onto the US reality show Chopped Junior. The cooking show for children brought foodie Markle in to judge some of the kid’s meals and gosh darn it she was a competent yet kind adjudicator.

Wearing a delightful blue dress the Duchess of Sussex tasted two dishes in the newly-unearthed clip.

She told the host that she was ‘so excited’ to be on the show and that, ‘growing up your fondest memories are, at least for me, are in the kitchen.’

The actress has always been passionate about food, with husband Prince Harry revealing that he proposed over a Sunday roast chicken she was preparing for the happy couple.

The patron of the National Theatre gave one child on the show some tough-but-fair criticism, telling her, ‘Unfortunately the yoghurt sauce didn’t really fit with everything else that we had going on on the plate,’ but reassured the budding chef, ‘but I will say, I really enjoyed eating your food.’

The new royal told another contestant, 'This dish reminded me of the kind of food that I grew up eating in California. Like, that real, kind of, farm to dinner table fresh - really simple ingredients.’

To find out more, Inside Edition hunted down the junior cook who won that particular episode of the show. She told the camera, ‘I just remember thinking, oh my god, she’s really pretty. She was just a really positive person, she wasn’t intimidating or scary at all.’
