Dakota Johnson and Chris Martin have had a relatively quiet few months since reports of them dating first surfaced in October, keeping their relationship so private, it actually seemed non-existent. But eight months in, it's still very much a thing that's getting more serious, People is reporting. The two have been especially close this month, even out in public!
“For the past two weeks, they have spent a lot of time together,” a source told the outlet. “Chris lives in Malibu and Dakota seems to love hanging out there. They occasionally go for dinner with friends, but mostly have friends over at home. They go to the beach together, and walks around the neighborhood. They seem to enjoy sharing a quiet life. It does seem they are getting more serious.”
The two were most recently photographed kissing at a restaurant while out at lunch in mid-June and holding hands while walking Johnson's dog Zeppelin in Malibu on Sunday.
Johnson and Martin have additionally been seen out a couple more times this year, most notably in February at Ellen DeGeneres' birthday party. Martin's ex Jennifer Lawrence was there too, but that didn't cause any issue and they attended the party with separate groups.
Johnson's mother Melanie Griffith fully endorsed the pair to People during an interview last month. “I adore him!” Griffith said. "But she is very private about her life and I respect that.”
