Leonardo DiCaprio interrupted his own summer of fun earlier this week when he reported for work on the set of Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, aka Quentin Tarantino’s Charles Manson movie. On Monday, Leo and co-star Brad Pitt were spotted in their late-1960s best, aka, a turtleneck in July.

In the film, Leo plays Rick Dalton, a former TV Western star whose longtime stunt double Cliff Booth (Brad) just so happens to be neighbours with Sharon Tate [whom Manson murdered]. The cast includes Dakota Fanning, Luke Perry, Damian Lewis, Margot Robbie, Burt Reynolds, Timothy Olyphant, and Kurt Russell.

Once Upon a Time in Hollywood will be released on July 26, 2019, just weeks shy of the 50th anniversary of the murder of Tate and four other people by members of Charles Manson’s infamous cult. The film is one of at least three movies about the Manson murders set to be released in the next year.
