Tristan Thompson hasn’t had the easiest of times lately.

After videos surfaced of Tristan allegedly cheating on then-pregnant Khloe Kardashian with another woman in a New York nightclub, the whole Kardashian-Jenner clan unfollowed Tristan on social media.

Khloe gave birth to their daughter, True Thompson, a few days later, but things between the couple haven’t been plain sailing. While the new family have been spotted together on numerous occasions and are rumoured to be trying to work things out, according to a source, Tristan still doesn’t realise what a big deal the situation is.

"As a guy, [Tristan] is naturally not as understanding as he can be in this particular situation. It’s so much easier for him to, not completely, but brush things under the rug. She can’t do that," the source told People.

"Khloé carried his child and is much more in the limelight than he is, and she doesn’t think he understands the consequences of his decisions. She thinks the cheating scandal is a way bigger deal than he does and he doesn’t fully understand the repercussions of his actions affecting not only him and Khloé but the entire family as a whole."

Khloe hasn’t posted any pictures of her and Tristan since before True’s birth, but it's rumoured that the whole family are ready to forgive Tristan. There have also been rumblings that Khloe will address the issue on an upcoming episode of Keeping Up With The Kardashians.

Looks like sorry seems to be the hardest word for Tristan…
