Pinterest has revealed the top travel destinations searched for by Brits and the results may surprise you.
Releasing the most-favoured holiday locations by UK city, the image-collecting app has revealed the destinations where Brits are planning their next holiday.
It found that Liverpudlians are organising trips to Amsterdam to stroll down its beautiful canals, while Mancunians are escaping to Barcelona to try the world-famous tapas.
Further south, Londoners fancy heading to New York to experience the bright lights of the city that never sleeps, while travellers from Leeds prefer a taste of the exotic and are planning trips to Thailand. Pinterest also found that Brummies are craving the heat and beaches of sunny Dubai.
But when it comes to Cardiff it appears that the Welsh city’s Pinterest users would rather holiday at home as they search for travel ideas within Wales.

Meanwhile, new research from digital rail platform Trainline has revealed the UK destinations that have seen the biggest growth in train bookings this summer.
Southend on Sea was named the number one spot, followed by Margate, Birmingham and Manchester.
