Meghan Markle has more connections with Prince Harry's ex, Chelsy Davy, than having a romantic history with the Duke of Sussex. It turns out, the two have a common thread through Davy's current boyfriend, James Marshall, the Mirror reports.

Marshall, a TV producer, was previously married to Elettra Wiedemann, a model, food writer, and granddaughter of Old Hollywood icon Ingrid Bergman. She just so happens to be friends with the Duchess of Sussex.

Wiedemann and Markle have been photographed at events together, including the CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund Awards in 2015 in New York and a Relais & Châteaux dinner launch at the French consulate in NYC in 2014.

The writer even penned a guide to Paris for Markle's former lifestyle blog, The Tig, according to Mirror. 'The food, the accent, the je ne sais quoi of the women with their inherent chicness — I sigh un petit peu just typing this,' Wiedermann had written, per the Daily Mail.

'It's not clear if Meghan introduced Chelsy to James, but this keeps everyone happy,' a source previously told the Mail.

Davy and Prince Harry dated on-and-off for seven years before finally breaking up for good in 2011. Prior to the royal wedding, Davy reportedly had a tearful phone call with her royal ex. 'It was their final call, a parting call in which they both acknowledged Harry was moving on,' a source told Vanity Fair. 'Chelsy was quite emotional about it all, she was in tears and almost didn’t go to the wedding.'

However, Davy ultimately did attend the ceremony (without her new beau) and so did Harry's other famous ex, Cressida Bonas.
