Jennifer Garner apparently has quite the opinion of her ex Ben Affleck, who she’s still technically married to, going out with 22-year-old Playboy model Shauna Sexton.
A 'confidant of Garner' reportedly spoke to Us Weekly telling them, 'Of course she’s not pleased he’s dating a 22-year-old Playboy model,' the source said, not acknowledging Sexton by name. 'But she’s also not surprised. Jen has come to expect this from Ben. She’s not going to get involved. She can’t make decisions for him.'
Sexton and Affleck were first seen on a dinner date together last Thursday. Over the weekend, they were photographed getting fast food. Affleck and his past girlfriend Lindsay Shookus's breakup had not yet been announced.
Garner was honoured with a Hollywood star the same day news broke that Affleck ended his year-long relationship with Shookus. He did not attend her ceremony, but their three children did, along with Garner's family.
But Garner has basically accepted that Affleck is going to make questionable decisions if he wants to. 'Jen realised a long time ago that she cannot fix Ben and that his problems are not hers to solve,' the source told Us. 'She’s not his babysitter. She just wants to protect the kids. But she does wish Ben would keep his life more private.' In sum: Garner is really annoyed Affleck, at 46, is behaving like this publicly.
