In some extremely happy news for the weekend, it's being reported that Rachel Weisz has given birth to her first child, a baby girl, with husband Daniel Craig.

The Daily Mail reports that, according to friends of the couple, Weisz and Craig are 'very happy' to have welcomed a baby girl into their family. The couple, who got married in 2011, already have one child each, from previous relationships.

Weisz first broke the news of her pregnancy back in April 2018 in an interview with The New York Times. She told the publication, 'I'll be showing soon. Daniel and I are so happy.' The actress also made it clear that they hadn't found out whether they were expecting a boy or a girl: 'We’re going to have a little human. We can't wait to meet him or her. It's all such a mystery.'

She debuted her baby bump later that month, wearing a gorgeous floral Miu Miu dress for an interview on Good Morning America.

Back in 2011 it was reported Weisz and Craig had married in a private ceremony in New York. Apparently only four guests attended the June wedding, including Weisz's son and Craig's daughter.

Weisz was previously engaged to film director Darren Aronofsky, with whom she has one son, Henry, who is now 12. Prior to marrying Weisz, Craig was married to actress Fiona London, with whom he has a 26-year-old daughter, Ella.

Congratulations to the happy couple, who are clearly both elated to be expanding their family.
