As the U.S. Senate reviews the FBI's investigation into Brett Kavanaugh, who has been accused of sexual assault, and determine whether he's fit to sit on the Supreme Court, Amy Schumer and Emily Ratajkowski were in Washington D.C. protesting his nomination, but were soon arrested and detained.

On Thursday, Schumer spoke during the protest at the Hart Senate Office Building and said, "No matter how this goes, they cannot keep us down. We will win. A vote for Kavanaugh is a vote saying women don’t matter." Before Schumer was reportedly arrested, she filmed a video of her saying, "I think were going to get arrested."

Ratajkowski tweeted, "Today I was arrested protesting the Supreme Court nomination of Brett Kavanaugh, a man who has been accused by multiple women of sexual assault. Men who hurt women can no longer be placed in positions of power."

At the moment, it's unclear what they were detained and arrested for.
