Things never really seemed to get back to normal for Khloe Kardashian and Tristan Thompson after all that nasty cheating business in April. And despite their best efforts to make their relationship work, it looks like things could be coming to an end for 34-year-old Khloe and Tristan, 27.
A source told InTouch Weekly that Khloe has split with Tristan and is seeking primary custody of their baby daughter True – meaning that True would live in LA with Khloe and her family, while Tristan is based in Cleveland.
'Tristan adores his daughter and wants to be near her and has told her he’ll fight for custody if he has to,' the source said.
'He’s on the road so much and spends so much time in Cleveland. Khloe wants True to be permanently based in LA. It’s not up for negotiation.'
According to the source, Khloe’s mum, Kris Jenner, will do everything in her power to make sure Khloe gets what she wants.
'She’s told Khloe they’ll hire the best lawyers and spend however much money is necessary to ensure she wins this battle. Kris wants dirt on Tristan so the courts will see he isn’t fit to have joint custody and that True is better off being with Khloe full-time,' the insider added.
This comes off the back of recent reports that Khloe is “very much over” Tristan.
A few days ago, a source told People magazine: 'She very much seems over Tristan. Not sure how they went from fine to being apart for weeks, but Khloe is doing great. It’s amazing to see what a great mom she is and how much she enjoys it. She is very much just focused on the happy things in her life. True, of course, makes her the happiest.
'It doesn’t seem to bother her that she isn’t with Tristan in Cleveland. She seems to know what she wants in her life right now. And it definitely doesn’t seem like she wants to be with Tristan.'
