If you greeted Prince William on his birthday this year, he just might have written you back. The Duke of Cambridge reportedly sent thank you postcards to the well-wishers who greeted him for his 36th birthday on June 21, Hello! reports, and the photo on the card is quite easy on the eyes.

According to a post from @loopycrown3, who shares photos of official royal letters on Instagram, Prince William sent a card featuring an image from his 2017 photoshoot with British GQ, shot by British photographer Norman Jean Roy. The image shows the Duke of Cambridge smirking in a white button down shirt and navy suit.

On the opposite side of the card, a message reads, according to Hello!: 'The Duke of Cambridge was touched that you took the trouble to write as you did on the occasion of his 36th birthday. It was really thoughtful of you and His Royal Highness sends you his warmest thanks and best wishes.'

Last year, Kensington Palace apparently used the same photo on thank you cards for William's 35th birthday.

Royals often send out thank you cards to fans who've congratulated them on special events. Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, for example, sent out thank you cards to those who sent them sweet wishes on their royal wedding in May, featuring an intimate portrait after the ceremony.

Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank, who just got married last month, recently sent out cards thanking fans who wished them well on their nuptials. Unlike her cousins' letters, Eugenie's note was handwritten.
