Ridiculously attractive newlyweds Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas are already back to work just one day after their final wedding reception and two days after their second wedding ceremony. The two posed together on the red carpet for the launch party of Bumble in New Delhi, India. Jonas wore a light grey suit while Chopra wore a belted peach dress. It's a good couple's look:
This is actually a big night for Chopra professionally, as the actress has an ownership stake in Bumble and told Vogue that she's helping bring the dating app to India this fall. “It’s the idea of it that I love for India,” she told the outlet. “It’s empowering girls to take control of their futures. You want a career? Go online; pursue the person you want to meet. Choose the kind of guy you like.”
Chopra also did her first post-wedding interview today for India's NDTV, where she explained why she and Jonas are delaying their honeymoon. "My work and Nick’s work are very important to us," she started. Then she explained that she committed to this Bumble event before she set her wedding date. "My commitments matter to me a lot. My word is my bond. And we had decided to do this a long time ago before anyone was getting married and so I stuck to my commitment. But besides that it’s something I’m really excited about as well."
She offered advice too to other brides debating whether or not to do a honeymoon immediately after their ceremony. "I would just tell brides out there, whatever your priority is, is right. It doesn’t matter if your priority is work, that’s right. If your priority is honeymoon, that’s right. If your priority is doing nothing, that’s right too. ’Cause as newlyweds, it’s really your turn. you get to do whatever you want. And with us, these are the choices we took that work for us."
Honeymoon-wise, Chopra said there's nothing set yet. When told her fans wanted to know where she was going, Chopra replied, "Me too! I have no idea. Right now, I have just work commitments this whole month with shooting and doing a lot of work with Bumble and a few other ad commitments that I have. And I don’t know. We still haven’t figured out where. I think it’s going to be a surprise though. I think that’s what my husband’s planning."
