Saturday Night Live is back on the air following a brief break over the holidays, and with the show's return is Pete Davidson's. The comedian regularly appears on the show's Weekend Update segment, joining hosts Colin Jost and Michael Che to make commentary on recent movies and pop culture happenings—including updates on his relationship with ex-fiancée Ariana Grande.

Davidson has mentioned Grande on the show a few times before—he addressed their breakup live right after it happened and even had an entire sketch written about their relationship (which never aired).

But last week, Davidson made it through his entire appearance on Weekend Update without mentioning his famous ex, and he wants the whole world to know. At the very end of his segment, you can here Davidson turn to John Mulaney (who made a guest appearance on the show) and say, "I didn't mention her once!" That certainly seems like an Ariana Grande reference to me. Watch below!

Meanwhile, fans think Davidson may have snuck in a very subtle nod to Grande on the most recent episode of SNL, which aired last night. In a sketch called "I Love My Dog," Davidson and his cast mates rap about how much they love their dogs—and bunnies. The not-so-subtle nod? The women in the video are dressed a whole lot like Grande's Dangerous Woman getup.
