As part of her preparation, Larson worked with Los Angeles-based celebrity trainer Jason Walsh of Rise Movement (Irina Shayk, Emma Stone, Alison Brie, Jessica Biel, and Miles Teller are clients), who helped Larson build muscle and increase her physical strength. Yesterday, the actress shared a video of one of her most impressive exercises yet: pushing a car by herself.

"A training highlight - pushing @risemovement almost 5000lbs Jeep(with a full tank of gas and Alyssa behind the wheel for safety!)for 60 seconds," she captioned a video of her demonstrating the intensive exercise move.

For her workout look, Larson sported a pair of black leggings, a muscle tee, and a pair of custom Captain Marvel-inspired sneakers. In October 2017, Brie shared that on IG that she received "the coolest #gift ever ever ever!!!!" aka a pair of deep red, blue, and gold Nike ID Metcons, customised with "Capt. Marvel" embroidery.

This wasn't the only workout video Larson has shared on social media. During the holidays, she defied gravity for some indoor rock climbing under Walsh's supervision. "My self tape for the role of Spider-Man?," she captioned the Twitter video that showed her climbing while upside down.

Larson stars in the Captain Marvel film as air force pilot Carol Danvers, who's part human and part Kree (an alien race) with superhuman powers. Though her story is set to take place way back in the '90s, she's slated to be "the strongest character" in the Marvel universe, studio chief Kevin Feige previously teased to Entertainment Weekly.

Samuel L. Jackson (Nick Fury), Gemma Chan (Minn-Erva), Lee Pace (Ronan), Ben Mendelsohn (Talos), Jude Law (Walter Lawson / Mar-Vell), and Djimon Hounsou (Korath) are also a part of the film which is set to release on March 8, 2019.
