So are they or aren't they? Zayn Malik's latest tweet has fans pretty confused about where the singer stands with on-again, off-again girlfriend Gigi Hadid. After they were believed to have broken up in January of this year, the two are maybe, just maybe back together.
His tweet has since been deleted, but E! acquired this screenshot of Malik writing, "@GigiHadid love you." Hadid didn't reply, and Malik still does not follow her on Instagram.
Hadid did take to Twitter to clarify that she wasn't sleeping at anyone's hotel other than her own, though. When a fan tweeted that they spotted Hadid leaving a hotel that wasn't the same as the one she'd been staying in for a few days, Hadid offered this hilarious response:
"Sooo gigi was leaving an hotel that isn’t the one she has been staying for the past couple of days," the fan tweeted, to which Hadid replied, "To buy myself jewelry," followed by a string of heart-face and diamond emojis.
Honestly, same. The jewelry in question could be this Messika hand candy Hadid posted to her Instagram feed today (which is noticeably lacking in the Malik department).
So as far as a Hadid-Malik reunion goes, things are still up in the air. So far, they've eventually gotten back together after each of their breakups. Maybe there's a reunion in the works here, or maybe this time it'll stick.
