Kate Beckinsale and Pete Davidson made it clear to the world this Sunday that they are very, very much still dating when they made out (with tongue!!) during a Madison Square Garden hockey game. E! got some more details on how their initially-casual fling is going these days. It's still on, and yeah, it's a bit of a strange pairing (partly because the two have a 20-year age gap), but there is chemistry keeping them together!

'Kate’s very into Pete,' an insider told the outlet. 'You wouldn’t necessarily put them together, but it’s working for now. She’s excited about getting to know him and hoping to spend more time with him.'

Davidson's humour has really helped him, the source said. Beckinsale 'gravitated' to Davidson's quirkiness, the outlet wrote. 'He always has her laughing and that’s a good feeling to have,' the source said. Even when she's on the West Coast, and he's on the East Coast, 'they talk a lot and never run out of things to say.'

The last real update on Davidson and Beckinsale's romance was in February. E! painted it as more of a fling then. 'They spend most of their time on opposite coasts so it's a casual thing,' the source said. 'But they are going to keep talking and having fun together.'

People had its own source basically make the same point: This is not going to lead to wedding bells right now or even an official boyfriend title for Davidson. 'Kate’s not looking to get serious with someone,' the outlet's source said. 'She wants to have fun with guys and date around.'
