Even after so much build-up, nobody could handle the Arya–Gendry sex scene on Sunday night's Game of Thrones episode. Particularly Gendry (played by Joe Dempsie), who looked stunned from start to finish (though definitely not upset about it). It was all just such a surprise!

Twitter was aflame with jokes, memes, and astonished comments:

Maisie Williams, who plays Arya, said it was a little odd to film, because everyone on set was so conscious of making sure she was comfortable (a nice reason to feel weird, honestly). "No one wants to make you feel uncomfortable, which kind of makes you feel more uncomfortable," she told Entertainment Weekly, "because no one wants to look at anything that they shouldn’t look at, which in turn makes you feel like you look awful because everyone is kind of like [averts her eyes]."

You know who was totally into it (not in a weird way)? Williams' BFF, Sophie Turner. Turner, who plays Sansa Stark in the show, was actually the one who alerted Williams that Arya's first sex scene was going to happen. “I called Maisie and was like: "Have you read it yet?’” Turner told EW. "I’m like: This scene, this page, read it! This is awesome!"

The scene screened during Sunday night's episode, showing Arya's determination to experience sex before what might be a final, fatal battle, and her and Gendry subsequently getting down to business.

You know who was totally into it (not in a weird way)? That's right, SOPHIE AGAIN.

Twitter user @maia419 noticed something truly outstanding on Turner's Instagram Stories:

Turner—or should we say Turnt-er?—had apparently poured herself a glass of red wine and provided some NSFW commentary on the episode. "In honor of Easter, I guess Game of Thrones wanted the story line to have a little Easter bunny hop-hop-hoppin' into that pussayyyyy...and that's the tea," she said, using her preferred Instagram Story kicker.

First of all, that's not how we celebrate Easter. Second of all, what? Third...does that make Gendry the bunny?
